About ohlonehacks

Who we are

The Associated Students of Ohlone College Research and Development Division is a group of dedicated students who are organizing a hackathon targeting college students.

Our Event

OhloneHacks 3.0 is the third iteration of the first community college hackathon in the Bay Area. Our mission is to create networking opportunities for two-year college students who may not otherwise have access to other events held by larger universities due to limited availability. We endeavor to provide resources and collaborative space to expose our peers to technology that is not traditionally used in the classroom.

Our Theme

This year, our two major themes are Education and Environmental.

Education: With constant change and growth in the way teachers and educatiors instruct, computer apps and programs are becoming a normality in the classroom.

Environment: One of the many challenges our world faces today revolves around the sustainability of our environment.
